💳 Payment Setup in the Octopus System

Getting paid on MUAB is simple and flexible. Whether you're setting it up for the first time or updating your details, everything is managed inside your Octopus System under the Finance section.

🟣 Where You Can Set It Up

You have two ways to add or manage your payment method:

1. From Your Dashboard (First-Time Setup)

If you haven’t connected a payment method yet, you’ll be prompted directly on your main dashboard to set one up.

Click “Add a payout method” to get started.

2. From the Finance Section in Octopus

  • Open your Octopus System

  • Go to Finance → Balance tab

  • Scroll to the Payout Methods section

  • Click “Add a payout method”

⚙️ Adding a Payment Method

When adding a payment method:

  1. Select from the available providers (e.g., Stripe, Payoneer, others depending on region)

  2. Enter your account details (such as email, ID, or payout info)

  3. Confirm and Save

Once connected, MUAB will begin preparing payouts to your selected method at the beginning of each month.

🔁 Managing Your Payment Methods

You’re always in control. From the Finance → Balance screen, you can:

  • Set a default method – Choose which account your payouts go to

  • Edit – Update the email or details of your connected method

  • Remove – Delete a payment method you no longer use

  • Add more – Have multiple options ready and toggle your default anytime
